Students and fans of anime, manga, and so on attended the forum where convention organizers spoke and discussed about their experiences in organizing cons.

Speakers were Cosplay.ph Director and Co-Founder Robert Wong, Yaoi Expo Co-Founder and UP AME member Timothy Cabotage, and FurryPinas Executive Director Brian Uy.

The forum started with a special lecture from BFA Visual Communication and BA Art Studies graduate and UP AME alumna Krinkle Yap, who authored an undergraduate thesis on anime conventions in the Philippines.

Among the discussions raised were about the things necessary in starting a convention, the occurences and challenges during the event itself, and expectations on the future of conventions in the Philippines.

The forum aims to inform the audience on the intricacies and current state of conventions in the Philippines, as well as its history and prospects.
